MEASUREMENT METHOD (PRINTABLE)

Measuring the Circumference of Your Finger: This method involves wrapping a piece of string or paper around your finger, marking the point where the two ends meet, and then measuring the length of the strip with a ruler. To convert this measurement to a ring size, you can use our circumference-to-size conversion chart.

Measuring a Ring that Already Fits: If you have a ring that fits the finger you want to buy for, you can measure the inside diameter of the ring and use our diameter-to-size conversion chart to find your size.

Factors to Consider:

When measuring your ring size, there are several factors you should keep in mind:

  • Time of Day: Your finger size can change throughout the day, depending on temperature and physical activity. It is best to measure your finger at the end of the day, when it is the largest.
  • Finger Swelling: If you're shopping for a ring that you'll wear for long periods of time, such as a wedding band, consider measuring your finger after physical activity when it may be slightly swollen.
  • Weather: Cold weather can cause fingers to shrink, while warm weather can cause them to expand. Try to measure your finger under similar conditions to the ones in which you'll be wearing the ring.
